Hi, I purchased a new E1505 with 120 GB Hard drive. I don't know whether it has one more slot to add a new hard drive. Does anybody got any idea whether we can add a new drive in addition to the existing one?

Some notebooks allow you to replace the CD or DVD drive with another internal hard drive, but then you don't have a CD or DVD drive. Since notebooks are designed to be small, they usually don't have space for a second drive. If you need more hard drive space, you may want to look at getting an external hard drive. Some small (2.5 inch) external drives can be powered by using 2 usb ports, so you wouldn't have to carry a power adapter around.

I have an Inspiron E1505, and there is not a space for a secondary hard drive. Your best bet would be to buy an external hard drive if you need more storage space.

the laptop can only hold one internal hard drive. Usually its on the bottom of the machine or on some Dell machines it can be on the side, but all the screws to gain access to it are on the bottom.

Not to my knowledge. there is only one space for it, unless some thing new I never seen before.
