Well..i dont know if im goth or not Because I need to know for sure..Well i wear black like every single day im not saying all goths wear black but...I wear it everyday..And i listen to metal music..Like Korn,Slipknot, Pantera, Flyleaf, AC/DC, Lost prophets..(ex.) And stuff like that..I also wear A skull wristband every day -.- and a bunch of braclets and Converse -.- And I used the Anarchy a few times in my drawings -.- but i dont know if im goth or punk..Im not sure...Because alot of my friends hate goth people like HATE goth people...But i know they wont be true friends if I do turn goth and they hate me...But..I dont know what to do...If i should be goth or NOT? help :(

Be yourself! Dont label what you like, enjoy all kinds of music. Be who you are.Dress how you want. Your friends will respect you. I like all kinds of music. I dress how I want. Believe me, life is too short to try to "label" what you like. The best thing to label yourself is YOU!!!

Goth is more a lifestyle or outlook on life than anything. They tend to accept that there are bad things as well as good things in life, rather than 'sweep them under the rug', to say, and pretend they don't exist. They can dress however they want, although many prefer darker colors and more dramatic clothes and makeup, and listen to lots of songs and varied genres of music, which can include but are by no means limited to, new wave, darkwave, ethereal, Celtic, goth rock, punk, postpunk, chants, heavy metal, industrial, Latin, et cetera. Not all are interested in vampires - in fact, relatively few are. Many if not most have good relationships with their parents. Very few have mental or psychological problems. Most are actually quite nice, if a bit saturnine. Very, very, very few are 'satanists' or 'devil worsippers'. Most of the young teenagers who listen to Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Slipknot, Korn, My Chemical Romance, Drowning Pool, et cetera and wear heavy thick makeup and studded spike collars and bracelets are called 'Mall goths', shop mostly at Hot Topic, and - this is important - they're not real goths. They just seem to think they are. They act disturbed and surly and try to impress/intimidate people. It seldom works, as most are obviously pathetic, and almost all will (thankfully) grow out of it. sweetie, you sound confused. and it's no wonder, the so-called music you're listening to is full of nothing but hate, lies, and evil. and encourages evil deeds and behavior. what about this stuff seems so interesting to you? and what are you trying to prove to yourself and everyone else? do yourself a big favor and throw this stuff away, it will do nothing but lead you down a long dark path that you don't want to go down.

God loves you, and He has a purpose for your life, and I promise you, He will help you find purpose, meaning, peace, happiness, love, joy, your place in this world, and everything else that you're missing in your life right now if you'll just trust Him and ask Him.

you don't have to fit into the little school clicks, just be yourself. when you're out of school all the clicks break up and people get jobs and so forth, and then no one can tell the so-called goths from the so-called preppies or jocks or cheerleaders and so on.

You're neither. REAL Goth does not refer to listening to certain bands, or wearing certain types of clothing or wearing certain types of makeup or tatts or piercings. REAL goth refers to an point in history REAL goths live like they are from that point in history...the "goths" in schools are simply wannabes with no clue.
