Well, I live in New Hampshire and have lived here all my life. I'm only 20 and all of my jobs have been at restaurant. Most seem to start off anywhere between $5.25 and $6.50 an hour, depending on experience, not including tips. But if you need training you don't get paid during your training period, only tips. I've NEVER heard of anyone making $2.00 or $3.00 an hour, that's crazy!

$2.38 per hour or 45% of minimum wage, whichever is higher. If you regularly make less than $20 a month in tips then regular minimum wage laws apply.
