I'm graduating next semester with a Bachelor's degree- Major in Linguistics and Asian Studies.

I really enjoy linguistics and would like a job in the field, but I'm having trouble thinking of jobs. Things like programming language software sounds interesting, but I have no programming skills at all.

I'm thinking of maybe being a lexicographer, use linguistics in the foresnsics field, or being a librarian.

What are your thoughts and suggestions? Keep in mind, I can't specialize beyond what I have- anything more will have to be training offered by my employer.

You could always think about teaching or research. It can be difficult to find work in this area but good luck.

Talk to your advisor. He/she should be able to give you a few ideas. If your advisor is...less than fabulous...then talk to your favorite professor.
