Classic movies like "A Christmas Carol," "It's a Wonderful Life," "Miracle on 34th St" and "A Christmas Story" are all good. But if you're looking for something a little bit different, I heartily recommend "The Great Rupert" (aka "A Christmas Wish") starring Jimmy Durante and Terry Moore.
"The Polar Express" also deserves an honorable mention here.

I love Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas (muppet version of 'Gift of the Magi'). Then there are the classics: "Its a Wonderful Life" "Miracle on 34th Street" "Christmas Carol" and the wonderful "Christmas Story."

The oldies (but goodies, at least in my opinion): Miracle on 34th Street (w/ Natalie Wood as a child); It's A Wonderful Life (w/Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed) are 2 worth seeing.

My favorite Christmas movie of ALL TIME is "The Santa Clause" with Tim Allen. The first, not the second. My daughter and I love watching it together.

"Skipping Christmas". It is based on John Grisham novel starring Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, and a whole lot more. Nice movie, very entertaining, and heartwarming too.
