I choose a horse because it's less maintenance than other suitable beasts and much more readily trainable. For a weapon I choose the recurved bow: compact, powerful and much greater range than your flamethrower. If you study military history, you'll find that combination - horse and bow -has been the most successful through history up to the point in time where reliable firearms became common in the world's armies.

You may want to pick another animal, with that flame thrower, that bird may erupt in flamage...
I will ride and elephant and my weapon wise grenades...I can sit and toss...

Gee once you're going to contain guns then why would I vacation an animal... would truly vacation in a tank... or battleship... i pick to vacation a T-rex with a vast pike. Ohhh yaaaa you could all get eaten!!

have ridden an elephant, there great.tall. way above your enemy's.and I would have a long spear.I could stick my enemys with. any other animal or weapon would nt make any sense .sorry.

well you said no dinosaur so i deffinately pick a dragon.. its not one of those plus it flys, as far as a weapon the dragon has its own flam thrower so i would choose ummm napalm.
