Guys, what would be your intentions in asking a girl you work with if she has a boyfriend and is single? I have had several guys I work with ask me, and also the Hispanics. They say "tienes novio?" and if I say "no tengo novio ahora" they say "por que?? tu eres muy bonita" Do guys just ask that out of curiosity and for conversation or are they interested??

Sometimes guys like a girl who is taken. If they can get her to cheat, they get the goodies without haveing to buy her anything, take her anywhere or go to her family events.

Usually means they are interested. By them asking that question they are waiting for you to say "no I don't" so then they can come back with the line "why not you are very beautiful", and then hopefully the conversation can continue. maybe exchange phone numbers, and he'll say something like I'll give you a call maybe we could hookup sometime, and hopefully you say "yeah sure"

You must be very cute. If they are asking, they probably want to take you out. Not only are they asking you if you are dating someone, they are also giving you a complement. If you like any of these guys, ask them why they are so interested in knowing your dating life? If you want nothing to do with them, just tell them that you are dating someone.
If this doesnt work out, I am also single :o)

Are you for real??? Maybe you should stay away from boys all together. Do you really have to ask why someone would be asking you a question like that??? Of course they are interested!
