and now she is staying with her husband's family whose plan to do a genital mutilation to her on the 1st dec this year.her husband is here in US and he is so frustrated he dont know how to help her escaped that.his family believes that if they do it for their daughter in-law it will help to protect her from prostitution during her separation with her husband.

When people stop the genital mutilation of infant boys I will listen more closely to people whining about the genital mutilation of girls and women.

This is a problem her husband has to solve --- he knew the risk when he moved from Africa and left his wife in such a primitive culture (or village)...if he was so concerned he'd be contacting the government, Amnesty International and seek asylum for his wife who's facing such a brutal mutilation.

This is the second post, R U for real? I mean come on this does not even sound like it could even be real, people do not do this anymore. And I am almost positive it is illegal in any country, if she is an adult then she needs to consent to the procedure or it is considered to have been done under her will. Not sure that this question is true
