Ew, no! I've been a server for over five years, worked at three restaurants and I've got to honestly say, I've never worked at a place where it would be acceptable to spit in foot. That is nasty, immature, and completely unsanitary. Anyone who was ever caught doing that not only has serious issues but would be fired on the spot.

Believe me, I've had some diners who I hated so much I probably thought about messing with their food but I would never follow through and anyone who would deserves to be fired on the spot.

i have been a server for years, right now I work at Red Lobster and you know what happens when the steak is sent back? It's put back on the grill and recooked if underdone and a new one is started if overdone. That's it. For all my years in the restaurant business, I have never seen anything different. Something gross happening to a steak is just not true as far as my experiences go. Sure the cook gets irritated, but that's it. What do people think happens? We want the customer to be happy so they'll tip us.

Wow...you've watched the movie "Waiting" haven't you?
Anyone who works in the food industry has had "thoughts" of doing these things. Although, I think my "friends" in the business will agree that it really doesn't happen, not in the nice upscale place that I work at anyway.

By the way, never, ever send your steak back to the kitchen ....lmao

This is kinda gross, but I grew up in a small town where everybody knew everybody. Sometimes when you went to the pizza place, you'd get a pizza with a hair in it. Luckily, it was long and red, and we always knew that Lance was cooking that night! For some reason, it didn't seem as gross when we knew the guy.

definite, and the customers are no longer spending because of the fact they're terrified of dropping their jobs and/or properties. The Republicans are no longer helping that by making use of insisting on government funds cuts, which will deliver greater human beings to the unemployment line and greater opposition in the artwork place for the remainder jobs.

I have to admit, the thought what they'd do with my food if I ever would send it to back to the kitchen for any reason scares me. I doubt they I will ever do that. Some people are gross and I don't trust anyone.

Some of these answers are gross and I wonder if they are true.
I have found hairs in food and once found gum in the salad bar.

My daughter and I went to a TGIFriday's at Knott's Berry Farm in OC and found 4 hairs in her salad, they brought her another and we found 3 more hairs in that bowl of salad, so we left. Yuck, they can have their hair salad.
