I don't see how we can leave now.

I also see the very word Democrat being made to sound like the decay of moral standards. Not all, but many people do this.

Does it look that way to you?

Liberals will go to great lengths to avoid being cornered and made to answer for anything. They will skirt around an issure for days if they can't answer in 3 worded sentences. Well before getting into office they'd shoot their mouths off every 60 seconds about how the Bush adm is doing the war thing all wrong. Well now they are in and they will have to eat their words and it will be sweet to have them take the blame now. Except for the fact it could be the death of us.

Absolutely. We're looking at a truly heinous mess right now. Civil war is breaking out in Iraq, Iran is chomping at the bit to make a mini-Iran, the Kurds want out, which may lead to a Kurdish revolution in Turkey, civil war is breaking out in Lebanon, the Israelis and Palestinians just stopped talking, and Afghanistan is returning to the Taliban.

This Administration has truly fouled things up. A real bunch of *geniuses*.

All hell will break loose regardless of whether we stay or leave ... the only thing we get from staying is watching more American soldiers die in the crossfire.

So we will get them out, just in time to watch Bush's work for the last six years hit the fan. And yes, Republicans will try to blame "liberals" for it. (They already are ... and the new Dem congress hasn't even taken oath yet.)

If by liberals, you are referring to our new Congress, which I wouldn't call liberal, btw, the American people elected them to fix the "mess" in Iraq.

They were elected to take the fall, if that is what will happen.

Can people just want us to maybe succeed as one nation?

EDIT: Around here, liberal is used by many to mean democrat. I do not subscribe to that view. I think that many liberal republicans were just replaced by conservative democrats.

And I agree that we cannot leave now. I also believe the blame will be irrelevant.

elaborate, not sure what you mean exactly, I don't think liberals are prepared to "take the fall for the iraqi war" or should be prepared to do so

Not at all! They're gonna take credit for it, and say that as soon as they were elected, that's when everything turned around!

No, the conservitives have already taken that fall, and most are proud of it!
