the scan was done of my brain because my migranes became so bad i started seeing double and falling down from the pain.

Sorry, I cant help you with the limited info you gave- if it was a CT scan of your chest and the "dot" is in your lungs- it could be nothing however, if it was a head CT, a "dot" could be significant.

thank you for telling me it was a brain scan- the dot most likely was white in color and depending on the location it can mean different things. Please get your cat scan report and films and go see a good Neurologist- a"dot" is an abnormality that should not be taken lightly and you should make an appointment soon. Best of luck to you.

Who described it as a dot? Well, in any event, take the films and get a second opinion.
