I don't know if they are the "hope" of the future.
One absolute is they are the future. How we train them to use the skills needed before its too late needs to be addressed now.
I think the schools are failing miserably as far as making sure the high school graduates have the tools to make it in the real world.
They have knowledge of the mechanics of the required courses and pass the minimum requirements.
But when they get out in the real world, they have no idea how to live. There is no course in school that trains kids how to manage money, plan a budget, acquire and maintain housing, or the hundred of other things needed to live.
But to say the children are the hope of the future...well, I suppose they are.
Frankly, I think we are in a world of doo-doo, though.

Of course they are. If children is not the future, who is?
That is why we need to set proper examples for children, so they know what is proper and what is expected of them in the future. Children are the hope to built a better world based on what we have learned from our mistakes.

No, children learn from adults. The state of the world today doesn't say much for us as teachers. We need to come to grips now and correct our mistakes so our children can live in a safe and healthy enviornment when they are adults. The future is up to us...now!

Of course, if we stop having children then what is the hope of the future? Future isn't just going to stop, we can't stop it, but however we can stop what is the future and if we want our species to continue to rule the earth, keep breeding

What other hope does humanity have but children, that have the future awaiting them, as we all did and do.

Of course they are. Each generation has been better than the previous one. Look at all the young adults out there today. They are fantastic. Motivated, unbiased, --even clean cut. I am proud of all the young uns that my generation raised. Oh, granted, there are some bad apples in this new group of young adults, but by far, your generation as a whole is awesome!

Yes, as long as we teach them well, especially the tremendous responsibility of being a Mother or Father, how we MUST treat the Earth and environment if we are not going to lose it, and the tremendous power and value of EDUCATION. If we do this, our world will get dramatically better within the next 50 years.

Not only them, but also their parents. So many parents are absolutely despicable, and forget to teach everything their kids should know, like morals and even simple things like spitting your gum in the trash rather than under the table.
But yes, children are the future.

They have to be. They are all we have with which to go into the future. Too bad the Democrats are killing the seedcorn of our future generations at the rate of 1.5 million innocents a year before they even get the chance to be born. Disgusting, isn't it?
