I normally wear a more lose-fitting bra to sleep in. When I don't, and just wear a t-shirt, my nipples get sore, and sometimes, red. What's wrong?

i have this happen sometimes too. i rarely wear a bra to bed but always a shirt or tank. I started rubbing cocoa butter on them before bed it totally seems to help. but double check with a doctor if you are nursing or anything.

Nothing is wrong, your nipples are just sensitive... and maybe your shirt might be a little rough.

If you are comfortable sleeping in your bra, keep doing it! After I gave birth I was breastfeeding and had to sleep in my bra with pads for months before I stopped leaking all the time! I'm glad I don't leak anymore, though--personally I don't find sleeping in a bra comfortable, but I've never tried a loose-fitting one.

You are probably rubbing them on the your shirt in your sleep. I have to sleep in a bra too, if not I wake up with chest pain from the weight of them hanging out all night

Is your bra/shirt made out of a rough fabric? The coarse fabric could be rubbing against your nipples. Try a softer fabric.

a loose bra is good they make bras like that just for sleeping they look a little like sports bras except they are looser and the material is really thin. no support so you shouldnt wear it during the day.

You probably just have sensitive nipples. Try rubbing them with some lotion before going to bed.
