Although this question is a bit tough to answer, I'd have to answer with a "much preserverence". I started out in a retail field, starting out with part time help, to a third key position, to an assistant manager all the way to management. Of course I didn't get promoted at the same company, but through a change of jobs and money. It would have helped to know what you do, and of course, if you are trying to become a supervisor within a company you already work in. Most companies promote from within, and look for the "yes sir" attitude about staying late, covering shifts for others and going above and beyond your duties of your present position. Hope that helps!

Rule by fierce intimitation. If you are larger push your way "up the ladder." A mano-e-mano headlock works well. Insult your wimpy opponent until he yells uncle! He cries foul but so what? As long as he goes away. Remember, you are the alpha male, the wolf. Take charge. Start doing survival training in the most god awful areas of the world. You'll build character and not sweat the small stuff so much. This way you can sleep sound as you crush others as you jackboot the ladder. The ends justify the means. Pump iron every other day and learn a martial art. Not painting art.

1) If you are working in the super store, you have to work your self up
2) or you just apply at the head quarter , as a supervisor, based on your previews experience, and your education,
3) but you have more chance if you have a degree major on General Business.
