The kinetic energy of the ball is increased from 1.4 J to 6.5J by the work done on it.

The gain in kinetic energy is 6.5 - 1.4 = 5.1 J

Work done on the ball = gain in kinetic energy = 5.1 J.

I think u should add 1.4-point A and 6.5-point B
