My husband and I had unprotected sex 11/22 (i am not on b.c.)... the first day of my last period (which lasted only 3 - 4 days) was 10/28... I am wondering what the chances are that I could be pregnant? Ovulation calendars say that I am not fertile on 11/22... Any thoughts!?!?!? Any similar experiences?

Many people rely on the Rhythm Method as a form of birth control, but they fail to realize that sperm can live 3-5 days inside a woman after sex, so you do not actually have to be ovulating on the day you have sex in order to become pregnant.

in case your predicted ovulation date is the actual ovulation date, then you definately does not be pregnant using fact the egg won't stay that long. Is your cycle extraordinarily widespread and you experienced ovulation indicators around your predicted ovulation date? if so, your possibilities of having pregnant is particularly low. on the different hand, in case your cycle is abnormal or in case you experienced ovulation indicators after your predicted ovulation date, then you have some hazard of having pregnant. one factor to word, even in wholesome couples, the possibilities of having pregnant in any given cycle is approximately 25%, so which you would be able to thoroughly assume that your odds of having pregnant would be no extra advantageous than that.

Its possible. But the best thing to do is to wait and see if you miss your next period. You can get pregnant usually 3 days before and 3 days after your ovulation.

Just remember that everyone is different in ovulation so, as a general rule of thumb....count the 12th,13th,14th,15th,and 16th day from the FIRST day your period started and that should be when you are ovulating and possibly get pregnant.
