I'm terrible, I don't even do Christmas cards much anymore. Lost touch with so many long distance people. Local family and friends are easy, we usually have a gathering or two and at tat time cards and/or gifts are exchanged. When there WAS the time that we did send out cards, I usally sent them 1st week in December.

I usually send my Christmas cards between the first and second week in December.

I usually send within that last week before Christmas, because even if they arrive after Christmas, it's OK, so cards are one of the last things I get done.

i think given it's the holiday season, it's best for you to start mailing 2 weeks beforehand. that way your cards will be displayed in the homes of friends and relatives during the holiday. keep in mind you're not the only person with mounds of cards to mail. and also, even postal worker's want a break too.

I'll be sending mine out in the next week or so. I try to beat the mail rush. Our US postal system leaves a lot to be desired during regular time, let alone during the holidays.

The first few days of December, because the Post Office can be really slow this time of year.
