In the USA the news media(both Print and TV) are flat out liers much of the time distorting or concealing a lot of what's really going on. Most news media reporter believe that people only want to hear the bad things, and stuff from the left.

Children hold a special place in the heart of our lord Jesus. The problems in the world are the reuslts of the decisions of men and women. We as mortals lack the wisdom and the strentgh of character in matters of nations and all to often pay for those errors in judgement or satiating of avarice, greed and lust for power with the blood of men and women whose hearts are misled by corrupt men and governments. These problems will not get any better...whether one believes in end times or not, one can not help but take note of how bad things have become and given the predatory nature of men in power, they will get even worse. Take heart children,,,,speak from your heart to god through Jesus Christ...he will not lie to you, he will not deceive you, he will not lead you down the wrong path. He will comfort you with love, truth, strength and clarity of mind and spirit that can only come from his truth and purpose. These times are troubling for those who will not see the truth, nor those who will not hear the truth or those that will not speak and live the truth. Seek him out...he is the answer, he will be your comfort

Think back to when you were their age. Did you really concern yourself with the problems of the world? I didn't. It's partially due to a childlike innocence and partially due to their lack of ability to understand the relevance of world events as they apply to their own "world" (i.e. school, boys, shopping, cars, etc.)
