Well Im starting High School next year, and I'm going to take 4 years of electric guitar and piano classes, one elective being electric guitar and the other one piano, how much can I learn in those four years with a good teacher...will I play decent or crappy thanx for reading all of this now answer lol I need help people

It depends on how much you practice, and how much you want to improve.
primarily have fun though! it will come easier if youre relaxed about it.

It depends on you my young friend.
To truly be good a playing music you must have a natural talent.One that can be trained. If you are just a average Joe or possibly lean towards the tone deaf side. You can learn to play the notes yet never put the heart and soul into the music you are playing. And that is the difference between a average player or a great player. Listen to your heart feel the music with your soul.
And talk openly with your instructors.

i have been playing for about 4 1/2 years without lessons and i have gotten pretty good i think. With a teacher throughout your high school career, you should be very good in the end. I play about 2 hours a day though.

That depends on how much you know already, and
how often do you have electives? Once a wk.? Everyday?
I'm sure you can learn to play both decent enough.
My guess is you'll play better at the one you like best.

well, 4 years is enough to play what you want. you can probably play a bit of santanayou could possibly play 64th notes on hte guitar. as for the piano, you can playanything i mean 128th notes possibly. dude just play good musi ok?
