I cannot speak about when it will end, but I can say that racism is not the last -ism that pervades society. Racism is probably the baby of all the societal ills. There is Sexism, Classism, Tribalism, etc. I would say that Sexism is the oldest -ism in society. I am a black woman, and yes I do experience rasicm from white people. However there are many layers to my experience. For example, I have experienced hate from black men in society because I make slightly more money than they do. Many times, white men have treated me better than my own so-called 'brothers'.
I agree that Racism needs to die, but when it does (and it eventually will) Sexism will still be standing tall, and in need of a beat-down.

NOT SOON.
The American public supports comedians who use only racial material. As long as these comedians draw laughter out of such material racism will never end. Personally, I am from a well-versed area and my only predgudice is, ironically, people who are racist. I cannot stand ladies that secure their purses when a black or hispanic comes near. I have a friend of almost every race and they all have souls and are great people. Yes, some people might fill stereotypes that give their races a bad name but we have to look past that. That is exactly what America or the world will do as long as we support racial comedy.

Never because people like me dint think there is anything wrong with not letting go of a history that stole our family trees. Black people are the most mixed up race on the face of the earth. Dark skin is discriminated against in more than just America. I'm racist because of where I grew up at white people were the majority, just like in America and most were cruel name callers who made me wonder why they hated me.

Sorry, I am not a racist, but I do know that the more kinds of folks I get familiar with the less fear I have, and if everyone would just expose themselves to others they fear, which is difficult to do, there is a chance for an end.

Racism should end. It shouldn't exist. There's no excuse for it's existence. Privelage or the right to live, eat, have water, a community and using free will ( in the case of living and not killing others) belongs to everyone, not just one country or two. It's rediculous.

It will end only when Jesus returns and takes His people home with Him. I am not, nor have I ever been, a racist and I am glad of it. It must be awfulll hard carrying around all that baggage when it is much easier just to love everybody. May God Bless

OK...I think you have a point, and a good question..but no one here will ever know when it will end or if it will ever end.
Let me break it down in the easiest way possible. We are humans and humans are all different, some smart and some stupid...stupid people will always exist, and as long as they are around, these issues will never end!
What can you do abt stupid people...ignore them. They can live in their stupidity!

There's a lot of evil in the world, I don't think it will end, as long as there is evil and people continue to hate other groups and see it inferior or less, unless that changes it will continue, it is all because of lack of love, all in all, people who hate other groups of people lack love, even for themselves, if they really truly understood that, there would be no ignorance. Love is all we need.

I am not racist, but I also don't think it will ever end--definitely not in our lifetimes. Even if it were to end, people would find other ways to divide themselves.
