So silicone has once again been approved in the US. They did extensive safety studies over the past 15 years and it turns out they are just as safe as saline. my question to all the women out there who are considering implants....now that they are approved...would you choose them over saline? just an FYI--they look and feel 100x more natural than saline. Looking for input from women who are considering implants, not necessarily just anyone. Thanks.

I was blessed with enough, so I don't need implants, but I understand the reason some would like to have them.

I have silicone and they are more real feeling than saline because that is what I got the the first surgery. To tell you the truth, I wish I never got implants at all. They make me look more balanced however people always talk to my chest instead of my face (mostly guys) also I had alot of problems with the saline as the tissue around the implant hardened and they got deformed and I had to have a surgery to get the hard mass around my implants removed. OUCH!! Also I wanted to get them removed hoping I could go back to looking like I did before the surgery and the doc said I would look like I have a bunch of kids ( I don't so I don't want to look like that) so I went and put silicone in and kept them the same size. I am under a 5 year study and am just waiting for something to go wrong again. my advice: THE GRASS IS NOT ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE AND I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYONE--IT IS JUST NOT WORTH IT!!
