I am a 37 years old man who grew up in a very isolated village in Nias Island, North Sumatera Province, INDONESIA. I am the number 3 child (out of 6) of a father who has died in 1977 (when I was still 8 years old) from cancer. Through the hand of a tough hard working mother, I was able to get Bachelor Degree in Geology and Masters Degree (from a not very reputable institute) in Management. Having a quite broad understanding of the difficulties faced by the poor, I decided to dedicate part of my time and ability for social works. But the number one challenge I can hardly overcome for the time beeing is the financial one. Working as an Assistant Manager of Economyc and Business Development for Aceh-Nias Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Bureau (BRR NAD-Nias), as a government bureau of rehabilitation and reconstruction for the Aceh and Nias Tsunami and Eathquake, seems not to be the best short term answer to the victims. I am now looking for advice and support from you all. Many thanks.
