would the alarm go off? i mean it's metal right? so it shouldn't becasue your keys and other jewelry do not go off?

also i am not trying to steal something . i am writing problems for a psychology class. don't ask this class is real wierd but it it also fun.

a tag remover... yes i believe that would solve the proublem of a tag setting off an alarm... unless they had one of those ink release tags... you can get them off with very strong magnets... me and my dad had to do that once (not cuz we are theives) it was cuz i ordered a jacket online and they sent it with the tag still on >=(
and for the other sort of alarms... if you use tinfoil to surround the tag then it will scramble its link to the metal detector... dont ask me how that works i have no idea... but it does ;)

Doesn't really matter even if it didn't because there are new sensors that "some" you cannot even locate. And a store like Macy's has tons of camera's in the ceiling, inside the eyes of manikins, not to mention plain clothes store security. So a lifter would be a moron to take on Macy's or any large department store like it. Sears, Nordstrom, forget it.

The alarm shouldnot go off. I would never bring such a thing because if someone saw it, you could go to jail on intent to comment retail fraud.
