Iam new in using clear casting resin. I want to seal pictures from magazine or stickers. But,the finish bleeds! how can I stop that.....and why does the resin pours really nice finish then,it starts to get ugly when it start to dry.?

try spraying the picture with shellac first that should seal in the colors in the pic.

most hardware or paint stores should carry shellac in a spray can.

Coat the paper completely with a glue ( such as plain Elmer's) before pouring the resin- that helps stop bleeding. Once you pour the resin, gently breathe on it-- the carbon dioxide in your breath will help remove air bubbles. Hope these help.

You could laminate the items before you coat with the resin. The reason it starts to look ugly is because of the bleeding paint.
