ther is a web site out there that one is able to to review info. on a specific house. previous owners, original price, taxes when built, all buyers, etc. there is a site that is free and i cannot remember the site. it is in dupage county, i remember at one time looking through way township.

I would go to the realtor's website. All realtors have websites, and almost all of them have seperate websites for the local branches, and they should have video tours of the homes, when the homes were built, and the previous owner's cell number for any further questions.

Check with your local city Assessor's office or their website. As a real estate investor I can go to the city website and pull up the property's history of owners, if there is property tax owed and if there are any housing complaints.
