So often, when men are asked questions, their reply is, 'I don't care, 'It's doesn't matter, 'You decide.' Sometimes they can seems so indecisive, when all we want is one real answer. Does this mean that they really don't care, or is it just a way of not having to make a decision about something?

So often, women refuse to accept that 'I don't care, 'It doesn't matter, 'You decide.' mean exactly what they say.

If a man has an opinion that matters, he can say so just as well as a woman can. If he doesn't care either way, you get the response you should get: 'I don't care, 'It doesn't matter, 'You decide.'

You want him to be honest, don't you? Accept his honest answer.

Do you tend to disagree or want to argue about it if he expresses an opinion.??? If so maybe he just wants to avoid that scene. Most likely though he really is neutral on a matter that he has elected to consent to your preference. After a few times of selecting a place to eat all of which were unacceptable for one reason or another I never make that decision now, and except for McDonald's I truly don't care.

It means:

I don't care.
It doesn't matter to me.
You decide.

Why does it have to mean anything else?

It could be either. He could really not care, or he can think his opinion doesn't matter.

I can see this now, you ask him, "Where do you want to go for dinner?" He gives one of the above responses.

Either he is looking for your input, or he's experienced enough of making suggestions to only have them shot down that he no longer makes suggestions.

If you want him to pick, then ask him to pick and give up your right to complain or say no.

It could be any number of things.

Why not try a different approach? Why not give choices.

"Husband, would you like steak or seafood for dinner?"

It means that he's leaving the decision to you. My husband says this to me too and sometimes it gets frustrating having to make the decisions all the time so I tell him that it's his turn to decide.

I feel they want you to make the decision and will tell you if you make the wrong answer. So don't dwell on it and go ahead and do what you feel is right for the both of you.

Just in case the outcome of the situation is f****d up, he doesn't want to be blamed for making the ultimate decision.

STOP ASKING HIM THESE QUESTIONS !!!!!

You make the decisions, & he'll go along with them. If he has a problem with that, he'll have to pipe up and let you know. If he doesn't, at least you'll be doing what YOU want to do!

It means that they want YOU to decide. Nothing else. I don't think men have secret meanings behind what they say...unlike women....

I think it means they are afraid to answer truthfully for fear of being criticized.

If it's early in a relationship it means he has good credit.

He is wishy washy. They just don't care enough to make a decision. Find someone more forceful.
