take 4 ibuprofen and just relax. try to take a nap or just go to sleep in general...hopefully the ibuprofen will help...if you dont have ibuprofen try tylenol and just take 2...also a hot shower may help. i have the same problem today. i hate being a girl...it will be better tomorrow....also, i got on birth control for my bad cramps because it reduces your period to 3-4 days...good luck!

Well is it just this month? Or is this something that is ongoing every month? For right now, try taking some Motrin and take a hot bath. Curl yourself up in a ball around a pillow, that always seems to help me.

If this is unusual for you, I would suggest contacting a doctor. It could be something like endometriosis, cysts, or possibly miscarriage (especially if you are bleeding heavily in addition to the pain)

Cramps are never fun- I've suffered from terrible cramping ever since I started my periods. Hope you are feeling better soon.

For some odd reason, going for a long walk makes my cramps disappear. If I cant do that then I take Advil.

i've used midol in the past, and it seems to work very well. If you know you get cramps before your period, i would take the midol as soon as you feel like your getting cramps. It helps.

I don't know what kind of cramps you are having, so you need to go to the ER now.
