Ok, so, perhaps you all should know: I am a History major. I am very white. Not at all racist, but I need names that would fit with the kids I know I would genetically have. My name is Sarah May and I hate it. It's boring.
And by the way, with advice like this, I would never even consider your advice is all you do is say you hate them and that's it. I need to know why. I am looking for sophisticated answers. Not those of a 13 year old. Or those from someone who can't spell or use proper English. Or form a good argument. Sorry...
So, keep that in mind when answering. "the nams suk" is hardly an answer. If that's all you can say. Forget answering.

Ok, well, I do have to admit I have my doubts about Ellamae...I just liked Ella but thought it was too short and wanted to work in Mae as a variation on my own middlename, which is also my mothers. I happen to really like being traditional. That's whats up with the names. I hate names like Apple and Charm and I think boys really need normal names because I know that if boy had a weird name he would hate me forever.

Traditional huh? That's great...I feel the same way. I love the name Emma and if you want the middle name to be mae I like: "Emma Mae" That's a good fit. As for the boy names I love the name Elijah but I really don't think the middle names you have fit that name. I'd keep feeling/looking around for that one. But it is just an opinion of mine. Good Luck. I hope I have helped you out in some way.

I do have to add that I'm a fan of names that start with "M".......Both girl and boy...we all are different so I'm sure you'll find the perfect names for them!

Please forgive me for what I have to say about the girls names:
Emlyn and Elin look to me as if they have been misspelled. Ellamae sounds like something that a redneck would name there child. Don't get me wrong, I am from OK but even I would not suggest that for my child.

The boys names were not quite as bad. I like Elijah Michael and Evan Carter. I am not as thrilled with Eliot Andrew. It just does not sound right together. It doesn't roll off the tongue.

I like Emlyn, the Juliet is your choice, but Emlyn is a really nice variation of Emma or Emily.

I quite like Evan, but I'm not a fan of either Elijah or Eliot.

(P.S, I'm 14, and though you said you didn't want an answer from a teenager these are just my opinions)

If I ever have kids, here's what I'd like to name them:

GIRL/S
Laurel (as a variation/mixture of the names Laura/Lauren)
Emlyn (add that to the list, I really like that)
Scarlet (I've always liked this)

BOY/S
Wolf (I just thought this was a "powerful" boys name)
Erik (I have a Danish ancestry on my father's side)
Ruben (or another variation of this)

:)

I like the name Emlyn Juliet, Emma is a great name :) I also like Ellamae, you could always call her Ella for short, it is also a great name. As far as your boy choices I think they all sound like good strong names. I would say that may favorite is Eliot Andrew followed by Evan Carter and Elijah Michael are tied :)

Not crazy about any of them. I have three kids, and finding names that would fit them and you will be proud of eternally is pressing. I did name my little girl "JoLee". I LOVE it!!! Also, I have a Grey and Caleb. I like Elijah, but not with Michael. I also like Emlyn, but not with Juliet. Another one I considered for a girl was JoElle, Elle for short. Kinda cute, huh? I have always liked Erin for some reason. What's with all the E's? I so like Ella too, but not Ellamae. Sounds like she should be in a Tammy Wynette song...which is ok, I guess. Estelle? Theron is an usual name for a boy too, which is cool. Just some thoughts hon, to each his own. Have fun!!!

Wow after reading all you foot notes, I don;t think having a child would be a good idea. If you get that angry over opinions and comments ..... Whoa!!!! What if.... oh no.... what if! I hope you can calm down some, and relax. I read every answer some are bad but not that bad. I hope you will find happiness before your that lady beating the sh*t out of her kids in the public bathroom. Wish you well!

Oh and a good name for your child would be Jamilika Quantana Sulaki Koonooboodo!!!! How is that is that "White" enough for you

Those are all nice names. But... I usually have a rule of thumb, if you can think of more than 3 ways to make fun of the name... then the name is no good. Reason being that kids ARE cruel. Nothing you can do about it and sorry to say that if they get teased enough about it, they tend to start harboring feelings towards you the "parent". Know what I mean, so be nice and find something unique, but still usable in everyday use. I personally like a name that can grow with the child. Ex: Samantha... as a kid you could call her Sam, then as she gets older then the full name and if you like you could put in a middle name to give it a ring. Like Samantha Marie. Hope this helps

How about Emma Lynn for Emlyn? Ellamae? What? Sounds like something from The Beverly Hillbillies. I like Elin Jolie. All the boys names sound alright.

Emlyn (NO)
Ellamae (Hell NO)
Elin Jolie (maybe)

You hate your name, so why would you curse your pretty little girl with these names. I sense that E is a theme you want to stick with so try
Ella Jolie
Ella Rose
England Jolie
Emmarie Brynn
Enga Jolie
all of the boy names work for me. Good choices. Strong names.
although for Elijah it doesn't really blend well with Michael
try Elijah Paul
