Have you ever felt like you are mentally younger than your current age or have you considered yourself a late bloomer?

I'm probably talking about mental maturity? Would you able to tell your level of maturity at your current age?

Younger. I'm ALMOST 18, yet my best friend is 14, and the people I hang out with the most are between the ages of 11 and 16. Seriously. Except for two close friends my age, I get along best with younger kids. They just know how to have fun and be stupid! People my age are too serious for me!

I'm all over the place. In regards to important matters, I'd say I'm miles older than my physical age. I've been told by plenty of people I'm an 'old soul' or I've 'been here before'. People frequently think I'm older than my siblings, who are both older than I am. Then again, I still love a good fart joke and can monkey around like an overgrown five year old. Sometimes people of fairly low IQ, or who clown about prove to be a lot more mature than you give them credit for.

I don't feel any older than I did at 21. Physically it's a different story. If I could guage my mental maturity I'd have to say I'm about 104. Physically I'd say 104. Actually I'm pretty mature although I do have a youth streak that occasionally runs rampant. I think most of us do.

I don't know, I used to feel immature for my age not intellectually but emotionally. Now I feel more mature than a lot of people my age, except a lot of them already have teenage kids and mortgages and divorces and everything. There's stuff I haven't started yet, but mostly I'm okay with starting late with my head screwed on straight.

I was always considered 'Mature' by every one around me. I wasn't - but because I was so very shy, I came across as it, I guess. I'm now in my sixties and still think I'm 16, or 25, or 40 inside. And of course, I am all those things - and more - inside. And yes, sometime in the last ten or 15 years, I actually 'matured', rather like a good wine - at least that's what I like to think!

Actually we are not these bodies, we are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul. We do not age or Die only the body does. So it no wonder some people age and never grow up because we are eternally youthful in our eternal forms. Often i feel as if mentally I am not as intelligent as the people that are the same age as me. But in regards to mental maturity, I often feel as if I am more mature than other people the same age as me. I feel as if I am able to relate more to people that are older than me than people that are the same age as me.
