Sometimes I get messages from people who are not on my friends list [and I know that for sure]. Anyone know how they do this?
Also, sometimes I'll add someone, and they won't accept me [I don't have a picture so people don't recognize my site at times] but instead they'll send a message asking me who I am. But, the problem is, I can't message them back since they haven't added me yet! How can I solve this so they don't think I'm a stalker?

I can't message people who aren't on my friends list, but they can message me.

you don't have to be on a friends list to send them a message or for them to send you one.

you can message anyone without being their friend.
As far as people not recognizing you , message them along with your friend request so that they will know who you are.

You don't have to be friends to message someone.
