the same way other races have. we work, we go to school, we gradueate, and we live our lives just like everyone else, yet we are the most targeted because some of our race doesnt make the best decisions, but we as a whole always get stereotyped, but most of us are just like everyone else pushing through life

George Washington Carver invented the cotton gin which is worldly used to make the cloth you are wearing... Some of the best jazz music has come from the African Americans. Some of the best soul food is enjoyed by most everyone... They also helped built this beautiful country from the ground up.. white man never had the inginuity to do things on his own, he had to use slaves... So in actual reality, the African Americans built this country while the white man sat on his butt. I can never say the white man has helped in this country cause all they do is take and take and destroy everything they touch...Also the Native Americans helped the poor pilgrams to survive when they arrived to conquer our world and back stabbing them and taking their lands and stole their food and robbed their graves of precious artifacts just for their own benefit in the name of history... United States in my mind are liars, stealers, in the name of progress.. I wish all the white people would leave our country and go back to Europe where you belong....And leave us African Americans and Native Americans to make our own destiny...I am not a racist, but I am angry at what I see on TV and seems like the white people always try and take credit for something they haven't done and constantly make things worse even getting into other countries business in the name of freedom....We want freedom from you people and tired of your stinking laws which don't even fit into our cultures and way of life... What ever happened to the barter system, and since the white man coming, everything has to deal with money.....And besides, if the African Americans hadn't been forced here, the white people would still be wondering how to solve things.. So be happy that the African Americans and the Native Americans were here to show you how to do certain things and survive in our part of the world.

Black people are quickly becomming among the richest in our nation. You know, of course, the uplifting and motivational speech "I Have A Dream" by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. There are so many black folks that have postively influenced our world with music, acting, sports, politics, human services...Every area of our culture is blending with the black culture. We really are all one. We just choose to make a fight out of our differences rather than embracing them. There will always be those that preach hate and intolerance. We need to go back to the Beatles philosophy and Give Peace a Chance for crying out loud.

Well, Ben Carson is the best neurosurgeon in the world. African american and quite gifted. Morgan Freeman is one of the most talented and gifted actors in Hollywood. Tiger Woods is the best golfer in mankind, Johnny Cochran was one of the most talented lawyers in the world. martin Luther King was inspired and a great leader. The contributions are enormous and unrelenting. I just named a sparce few to get the point across but for being such a small portion of society, the contributions outweigh what most actually give credit too!

How have YOU contributed to our culture and communities in the United States?

I don't think it's your business. No offense. If someone is doing something, I don't think the attention of the world or American should make a difference. There are more important things people should be doing besides having sex and worrying about or judge the color of someone' skin. No offense to you, again. Just talking to those who are racist. Effecting the way some ppl behave towards others. That is a waist... of time. The others needed time to focus.
