As a teenager I wake up go to school and sit through classes for about 7-8 hours then I come home and sit to do homework for several more hours. After that I eat dinner and either keep doing homework, watch tv, or go on the computer. Then the next I do the same. How often to you just sit throughout the day? Does anyone have any interesting jobs?

Just a random question because I'm bored and curious =D

I work at a boneless chicken farm. I prop the boneless chickens up in the field so they can get sun.

We do sit an awful lot. Physical education has ebbed and flowed in popularity at school and, unfortunately, unpopular kids get pushed out of it because most of the activities are team sports (then they get more unpopular because they're sedentary and get fat). As adults, we spend a lot of time driving here and there and not walking, and we eat more than we need for the energy we expend. Also, our recreation since the rise of technology involves such things as TV and computers rather than active things. Sad, isn't it? That said, I at least lift hand weights or do sit-ups when I'm watching the telly (assuming I'm not knackered already).

Can't say my job's interesting. I'm a night filler (which if you don't know, means I stack shelves for a supermarket). Boring as bat$hit, but it made my muscles pretty good. :)

Yeah, I totaly agree with you. We have to sit in school for ever, and they are the ones allways telling us to not sit around and be lazy. It never made sence to me. Then, we DO get boat loads of homework. Its really dumb. I walk to the bus, thats about it.
