I saw them on tv doing a concert and wondered how much it would cost to get them to perform some where 'cause my friend said he'd pay $150 to see them live. 150 x 40,000 is alot so how much would they want?

You can't get the orig Floyd but if you could David Waters said it would take at least 5 mil to get them back together.

For a quick answer I'm quite sure Pink Floyd doesn't do private bookings. If they did you would have to pay them the 100s of thousands of dollars months in advance.

Cost to think about that you'll have to pay for in the cost are:
Employment Tax
State Tax
Federal Tax
Preparer Fees
Health Insurance
Dental Insurance
Experience Fee
Reputation Fee
Performing Hours
Business Liscence
Trimet Tax
Instrument Insurance
Equipment Insurance
Auto Insurance
Marketing Cost
Web Cost
Advertising Cost
Practice Hours
Clothing Cost
Sound Reinforcement
Lights
Staging
Location Rental
Distance / Milage Cost
Meals
Angent Fees
(Multiply for the band members, and crew)

Sorry...not gonna happen: (From Wikipedia)

Many fans expressed hope that the band's Live 8 appearance would lead to a reunion tour, and a record-breaking US$250 million deal for a world tour was offered,[4] but the band have made it clear that there are no such plans. In the weeks after the show, the rifts that separated the members during the breakup seem to have mostly healed. Gilmour confirmed that he and Waters are on "pretty amicable terms" and that they communicated via e-mail after the concert.[60] Waters has offered conflicting comments on the issue, with statements as varied as "I couldn't roll over for a whole ******* tour"[61] and "I hope we do it again,"[62] although most recent comments seem to indicate his desire to play together again, but not for a whole tour, but an event similar to Live 8.[63][64]

On 31 January 2006, David Gilmour issued a joint statement on behalf of the group stating that they have no plans to reunite, putting to rest rumours from several media outlets.

Your kidding right? The members themselves can't get along. After they split David Gilmore and Roger Waters were arguing over the name and the songs. The big guys can't even get them to play together ,so I doubt you will. They don't even need the money. Darkside Of The Moon still sells over a million copies each year and that's only one of their albums. The royalties alone each year are outrageous. So they don't need to play. I think if they did it would be them coming together for the fans.

It's not a matter of money. Getting them to play together on stage means making them put their egos aside. Live8 was the ultimate unselfish act, but the next event like that is the only thing to bring them together again.

An incidentally, I'd pay twice as much as your friend. Tell him to shine on, crazy diamond.

About a million to have them perform somewhere, tickets are about 150 for shitty seats.

They will never tour again which is a shame but I would guess at 300 million to do a U.S Tour.

Could be wrong here but ...
