I was late on my refill order on my birth control and was a week without it and when I recieved them I started my cycle again. I'm on my third week right now exactly 28 days from my last period. Should I be expecting my periord or should I wait till My pack ends before I jump to any conclusions?

You will not get your period until you are in the fourth week (sugar pills or no pills). However if you had unprotected sex I would take a test even if I got my period just to be safe; because you don't really have a "period" on the pill the same as you do when you aren't on the pill.

The first pills in a new pillpack are the most important!! You could take Emergency contraception if you are really worried. Use a back up method (like condoms and foam or spermicidal film) until you are done with the pill pack after this one.
Take a preg. test, and also don't expect a bleed 'til the last week of pills in this pack.

There is absolutely a chance you could be pregnant BUT you could very well have messed up your cycles by restarting your pills.

I would take a test to be sure and then wait until your pack ends.

If your period doesn't come during your off week, I would wait to start the next pack until you know you aren't pregnant. BC pills can harm a baby.

you are not going to bleed until you get to the placebo pills, the last 7 in the pack. dont believe that other answer, you are protected in one month. you were not protected from pregnancy in this cycle however

Blood tests are instant. See your doctor. You may have just messed with your natural rhythm so much you threw it off and just some time to reset.

with a break in the routine it takes three straight months to be fully protected again.
