I get so jealous watching the "vintage" 7th Heaven shows because of how great the father is to his kids. Does anyone else wish "Eric Camden" was their father? Do you wish you were a "Camden"? (Yes, I know the show is fictional, but I can dream). Of course Stephen Collins isn't have bad either.

sometimes. but then again, it would be kinda weird to be a pastors kid. u know what i mean. ur supposed to be pure and perfect. u cant do anything bad etc. but he is sooo good to his kids. it is depressing.

I used to love the show partially because I loved to hate the parents. The kids couldn't do anything without the parents snooping or the dad secretly following them around. The most unbelievable part to me was that the kids always accepted their punishment and respected the parents rules even if they were ridiculous. I was not like that growing up and if my parents had been as "involved" as the Camdens I would have run away or really freaked out on them at some point for not giving me "space". So, no I would not want a father like Eric Camden even though he is supposed to represent "good parenting"!

hie hie - yes, I just watched an episode about 40 mins ago ! The first time in ages - I didn't even know Lucy was pregnant, now she has a baby ! But I did always wish I was a Camden when I was little - I wanted to be like Ruthie, I wanted two older brothers like Simon and Matt ! I like the really old episodes best though - when the kids were really little !

He's not great he sucks so does the mom. Such a crap show it should have been taken off a long time ago. Anytime I even see previews I change the channel. If I had to be a Camden I'd have shot myself a long time ago. The show is so fake like anything like that would happen and if it did since they are a Christian family would have never happened. Don't you get it its brainwashed you into thinking its good when its abosultely the worse show on tv. I'd rather watch Jerry Springer all day then to watch that crap.
