Naruto is my favorite anime (Japanese version though). The American version is cool, actually I first started watching Naruto on Cartoon Network. But, I wanted to watch more and did not want to wait for another week to see another episodes, so I went to NarutoCentral.com and started watching all the episodes. Now, I am up-to-date with all the 200 and something episodes. Note though, the episodes on the Naruto sites are in Japanese with English subtitles. In my opinion though, the voice overs are much better in the Japanese version and the music is better too. The same goes with the Manga. Now, I watch the anime and read the manga each week currently with what the Japanese watch in Japan. The U.S. version has a lot of catching up to do.

Well after watching tons and tons of anime my choice is quite difficult because there are different style, but depending of the topic :
- Mecha / Robot : Gundam
- Humour : Slayers, Lina Inverse is simply the best
- Phylosophical : Neon Genesis Evangelion
- Samurai : Samurai Shamploo
- Echii : Onegai Teacher
- Plot : Ghost in the Shell
- Heroin : Kiddy Grade. I just love Eclair
- Hero : Full Metal Panic. Tumbs up for Fumoffu, Sagara is great in it.
- Music : Noir or Hack Sign : the 2 OST are incredible
So saying just one would be hard for the other series.

I love Naruto, also, but I heard from multiple sources that the Cartoon Network version was censored quite a bit from the original, plus I didn't want to have to wait a whole week to see what happened. I now watch the original japanese version online. I have to read subtitles, but oh well!

I have a bunch but my top 5 are Kodocha, Fruits Basket, Inuyasha, Slayers,Sailor Moon, I also like Naruto.
