Open the image file then save as and change to jpeg in the small window under were you type the name of the new file.

Funny the previous person mentioned infranview since I just downloaded the program. If you open the picture in your program that you view it in, and do a save as and change the extension to jpg, it should work. You then have it in both file types. You can also just open the folder and right click the photo, rename, and just type the name of the file .jpg.

Open the image with paint brush

Select "Save As" fron the "File" Menu

For the "Save As Type" choose JPEG instead of Bit-Map

Press "Save"

just open the image in paint and save as, then you can choose what format you want it in.

lots of programs can do it... i'd suggest Photoshop, but it's a pay program... just search on google or something, it should be easy to find one
