I accepted this tutoring position but I keep on getting a weird feeling in my stomach about it. Call it my intution or what...but something is telling me that I shouldn't go any further with it. Is intuition always right...or is it just nerves?

Your gut is usually right. Pay attention to it.

You can only learn that once you've lived a long time. I think it usually is right, but just in case it might be nerves and you don't want to miss the opportunity you should do it, as long as you are able to get out of it later if something goes wrong. If you feel you are in actual danger from it (you didn't say what you were afraid of) you should probably not do it. Unless that is your only job opportunity and you have nowhere to stay or support yourself.
