After you get your language skills down, you might consider the State Department. If you have a working knowledge of a foriegn language it would be a plus. There are so many departments within it that most people have no idea they exist and they have a great variety of purposes/goals. The first step is to take your Civil Service Entrance Exam though. Check on the internet for dates.
