There will be semen, there just won't be any active sperm. Meaning there won't be anything there that will make a baby.
Me and my husband made the decision earlier this year, and we were very pleased, but that could have also been because we knew the doctor.
Most times when something of that nature has been brought up, most men will react in that way. Some people don't even know how the procedure is performed. Some men don't like to be touched in a certain way, especially if it by another man.
There is an enormous amount of information that can be found out, and it would even help if he would talk to the doctor before hand.
The procedure can be performed while the patient is asleep or awake.

It is a sensitive issue for alot of men, and one of the important things is to make them comfortable (since they are big babies anyway!!!)
P.S. It took about 5 or 6 months before my husband felt comfortable enoug to have the procedure.
It may take some time.

Most of the way through this, I wasn't sure you were on track. You are judging him about text messages and rumors. Even his instragram could be hacked.. Hitting you.. yes a deal breaker, but I would not have jumped out of a marriage this quickly without some effort to recover. But, you have made a stand and though your life is more relaxed, you will still grieve the marriage.. the hopes and dreams. I went up and down for a year after the divorce was final. Some people do some counseling even if they are 100% sure it is over.. just to make sure there is no "unfinished business" But the way he keeps asking to get back indicates that he might get his hopes up if you even mentioned. Best of luck to you... marriage is never easy to end even if you are 2,000% sure it's the right thing.

Oh for crying out loud! Something comes out, but not the stuff that gets you pregnant. Well, there is that period of time after the vasectomy where you have a potential for some still being left, but that's what condoms and other protection are for.
Either this question is fake or your husband thinks you are an idiot!

That is totally wrong, I had a vasectomy in 1986 and everything works just fine....there is slightly less fluid, and I mean slightly as the sperm don't reach the prostrate gland.
The majority of the fluid in an ejaculation comes from the prostrate. There is no loss in sensation or satisfaction, you just don't have to worry about more kids.
Your husband needs to get his facts straight.

Most think that all that comes out is just sperm. But actually you can't see the sperm mixed in w/ the other fluids.
To be fixed the sperm will be cut off but all the other fluids will still come out. Unless you weigh this fluid down to the micro ounce you'll never notice the difference.

no, i don't notice any difference exept that i never have to wear a condom again! Remember the ice! never forget the ice! even if you feel great, use the ice for at least 8 hours! no heavy lifting for 2 days and then make gradual changes! If he gets this done, he'll be the happyest guy around, in about 8-10 days anyway!

Jessica, I had a VASECTOMY and YES, you still have ejaculatory fluids, he will still "***" the only difference is that he will not have sperm in his ejaculation. It has been about 2-3 years for me and it has worked. The procedure is almost 100% proof.
