I reccomend.... Card Captor Sakura
Main Charector Age 10 (12 as you watch the movies)
Cute (Very) Charectors. There is some action, but their not bloody, and gory type. And there are 70 episodes.
Not much romance.... but it's a really cute anime.

Either Bokura ga Ita or Ouran Highschool Host Club. Both are REALLY good and both have action. Bokura ga Ita deals with teens, real life, and has tons of romance. Ouran is kinda fantasy, but also deals with real life in some episodes and also has romance. I would watch them both(still am watching Bokura ga Ita cuz subs are slow >.<) And they both have 26 episodes.

Moonphase is a vampire anime with a very cute lead character. Its a weird show but its still alright.
Azumanga Daioh is one of the best comedy animes. And it does have alot of cute moments.
Strawberry Marshmellow is a cute story. Not much funny as azumanga though
Pani Poni Dash is another cute comedy. And it is pretty funny and whacky.

Tsubasa- it's cute how they won't say they like each other
i know a lot more manga then anime........
