Gig bags, good or bad, will not protect your guitars from humidity and temperature. Keep in mind that as hot as your guitars are they do not produce their own heat and as such putting a "blanket" (aka gig bag) over them will not give them the stability they need.

It isn't just the neck that warps. You can have finish checking and even body cracks if the environment is not stabilized.

A gigbag will save your guitar from some minor dings and maybe a beer spill, but that's about it. A hardshell case or even a flight case is money well spent. You want to avoid temperature and humidity fluctuations as much as possible to keep the neck from warping, but sometimes it can't be helped, so a good case is highly recommended.

Doesn't matter how good the bag is .... it will NOT protect any instrument from temperature or humidity extremes!!! Keep all instruments INDOORS !!!
