How would rearming help the situation? After all, if there are no arms, no one can shoot his fellow man or fellow woman, wouldn't you say? Duh!
What is it about the Gaza that is worth so much turmoil? It's just a piece of land. Get over it.

there will be no peace unless Iran and Syria stop meddling in the peace talks and stiring up trouble
Robin Western at least know your facts about something before posting about it the west bank and the Gaza strip are both the Israelis land not mention the fact that the Gaza strip is the main place where rockets are fired from into Israel the it would be like someone taking over Alaska and California then u saying it's not worth the turmoil so get over it
