I was looking into a college I want to go to they said that u should have some extracurricular. What should I take and how many do i have to take. Would a culb such as auto and computer count I AM THINK TO TAKE THOSE. i WANT TO GET A DEGREE IN cOMPUTER SCIENCE.

There might be clubs for computer club or something like that, if not you could go to one of your assistant principals and start one. If you are curious as to what clubs are in your school, find your yearbook staff and ask them...they know of every club, unless it's underground.

any kind of extracurricular activity will help. Just make sure you keep it to a minimum colleges look down upon someone who takes everything there is to offer since it shows that your not fully committed to a club. I would recommend anything that makes it look like you have leadership qualities and have great ideas.

ya it would count. I think it would be better to take an extracurricular that is related to the subject you want to study in college.

I think clubs would count-- so would playing an instrument or sport, if you can apply for NHS.

cheerleading...no doubt about it...im in 9 grade been in it for like 4 years and its still the best sport ever

colleges LOVE community service/volunteering. do some. they want to know if you're a leader in your community.
