Sorry I have an account on a trying to conceive website and we all use abbreviations. I meant I got a positive on a home pregnancy test and it then the second line disappeared.

If you read it before the test was over then I would consider it negative. You have to give the test time to run completely. The color runs across the test and can look like a line at some point.

If it faded after the alotted time then I would consider it positive. Although, positives usually stay visible on the test for atleast 48 hours.

I would test again tomorrow morning first thing.

FYI--most HPTs are the same.....just look up the brand's sensitivity and make sure you getting one that is pretty sensitive (25mIU) and you should be fine. I have found Equate (from Walmart) to be one of the cheapest and most reliable tests.

Yes, that has happened to me a couple of times. It is because there is something wrong with the test. Go get your money back, or get a new test.

I have heard of that happening. Invest in a better home test.
