ithe guys says "Swingin" a lot and some of the lyrics are "she is my lover, the apple of my eye, when i see her it makes want to cry, she has been my lover since the spring............" that is some of it. it is classic of the 80's. i remember hearing it when i was a child and i have always loved it. I believe you're referring to "Swingin'" by John Anderson. I think it was out around 1982-83.
