I know your looking for 17-21 yo's but at 37 I gotta tell ya your just gettting started with "the good old days". I saw the Grateful Dead 326 times man now that was the greatest show on Earth but then it was over. Did I hear someone say String Cheese Incident? You've got plenty of "Good old days" ahead of you. The only thing which does not change is change itself.

I just turned 18.
I don't know what you're talking about. Sure, the 90s was fun, but what is lacking here in the 2000s? Fresh Prince? Yah, I love Will Smith. I'm going to cry when he dies.
Anyway, perhaps you look back thinking life was better because you were younger and life usually is better when you're younger. You're untainted, unjaded, and still mystified, yearning for growth.
It's not like we sit down and watch NIckelodeon now that we're older. And its not like there ARE NO good cartoons because there ARE good cartoons. Don't you think some 80s kids are saying the same thing you are about the 90s? You can still listen to Nirvana or better yet, go out and find new music that you like. There is garbage music now but there was garbage music in the 90s, too! (Unless you were a fan of Britney Spears!)
You are highly over glorifying the past. It's good that you have good memories, but you are letting that bias your perception of history waaay too much, my friend.

Everyone misses the good old days; of course the past lurks behind us all.
Just be glad that the happy elements of your past outweigh the sad; it will make it easier for you to cope with "heading down a dark road".
Yours is the question that comes up each generation as times change; what is considered "actually good" is percieved differently by each generation.

You are right about that , I love 70ties music but.......
My friend , take care on thinking that way because your past is still your future.
Present is the machine that transforms future into past , The whole future is condemned to be past.
So live your life in a way that makes your past great. Is still to came.
As you may see I'm not your age....but ill be always your age because I already turned it into past and the memories are great.

The past never lurks for me, but is a reminder that you never miss the water until the well runs dry.
For me, I remember when gas was cheap and candy bars were big

Work to improve the present. We can draw lessons from our pasts, but we can't relive them.
