On my msn.. its sending a virus threw my contacts.. i need help how to get rid of it! Is it doing this to anyone else?!

hmmmm, I had gotten some virus through my yahoo messenger, and it sent an im to everyone on my list saying that I had sexy pics on geocities....I had gotten offline im's from someone else on my list that had said the same thing, but he left another message saying he'd been hacked. I just immediately cleared out my temporary internet files. You don't have a antivirus program on your computer? There are free 'trial' ones like SpySweeper I think & maybe go to www.trendmicro.com and see what they've got.
sometimes viruses can only be deleted by going into safemode and finding the problem file and deleting it. That guy has a lot of good links as well. something's gotta help.

If it's already on the internet doing this, good luck getting rid of it..but on my administrator account i am using Avast! Home Edition. It has real time protection and a virus scanner for free.
