When the engine is cold, my tempo has a hard time accelerating when you pull out of the driveway and has a hard time getting to first gear. Sometimes it goes into the gears fine, but still has difficulty until you get further down the road, then it's fine. I've checked the trans. fluid and it's clean and full and does not leak. There is a oil seal leak, but I always make sure to keep the engine oil full. It does this only when the enging is cold, not hot. What could be doing this?

Ok just give it a try....

Turn your key, not all the way on, but the notch right before on and leave it there for about 10-15 seconds... after that turn your car on... Leave it on for about 3-5 minutes to warm up everything

Also try putting some STP Gas Treatment in your car and about week - week and a half later put the STP Carb & Fuel Injector Cleaner in...

Hope this helps
