Tell your mom this story about my son and me.

I played math games with my two sons constantly until my younger son was taking Algebra 2 in high school and started saying, "I hate math."

I knew that he shouldn't hate math because he has a real talent for it. So I stopped bugging him with constant math problems (although I probably didn't cut it out entirely).

Anyway, I held my breath to see whether he would start taking an interest in math and performing better. Fortunately, he got a more interesting math teacher the next year and stopped complaining about math.

Now it's two years later, he's a senior in high school taking a second-semester college calculus course, and is planning to study engineering in college.

Conclusion: If you keep bugging the kid, he will dislike the subject. If you pull back some, and if he has some good teachers, he'll discover what he's good at and will want to do more of it.

I guess that depends on your grades. If your mom thinks you need it, you'd better listen to her! lemme tell ya- when I was little, my mom made me memorize the multiplication tables in chinese! (i'm not kidding, I really did have to do this) But my grades in math are the best in my grade level and I am highly advanced.

The only way you are gonna get better at math is practice. And if the games don't do it, you just have to get hardcore. Take math lessons or classes.

Your pal appears like a recurring liar, it really is a ailment a similar as anorexia or compulsive spending or ingesting. In different words, she will't help it. She needs help (better than you could provide). i'd recommend her to get counseling both from the school counselor or from a approved medical counselor. in various of circumstances liars have deep thoughts of lack of self assurance and they imagine they ought to create whoppers for persons to settle for them. She has probable been mendacity for thus long she doesn't comprehend the actuality from a lie.
